Class Day Reunion Row-UW Class of 1965 50th Anniversary

SSUW50thReunionCrewClassOf65-128This was something very different for me and really not my expertise.  Sports photography is not where I excel nor do I have the right equipment.  However, when I heard that my father-in-law was going to be gathering with his UW college crew mates for a 50th year reunion row on the morning of “Class Day” I was happy to capture it the best that I could.

It was still dark out when we started out so it definitely was not the best lighting scenario, making the photos grainier than I like but it was so fun to follow along on the Husky crew launch with other family members and capture this memorable event.  What was extra special was some of the children of these rowers (my husband included) got to fill in for spots that were missing on the boats making it a family memory as well.

Ward Buckingham - Elise…thanks for your input for UW Crew Class of ’65.
I was told you took video of my 10 minute talk Friday night 3/27/15. Is that true? My grandson took it also but missed the first 3 minutes due to problems he had with camera familiarity. If you have it and could send it to me that would be great.
